This bogwood oak was sourced by ourselves at one of our favourite locations
The age of the wood is not specifically known, however bogwood ranges from approx 1000 to 5000 years old. We are somewhat sceptical of many sellers who give specific dates as the cost of carbon dating is expensive.
Cut into an authentic worn and ancient looking style of cross. If you want pristine new looking cutting this is not it but a more realistic interpretation we believe of something ancient.
Hung from a waxed cord of 18" with lobster clasp to fasten.
Dimensions: Height 50mm, width 33mm, depth (front to rear) 10mm.
