O'Connors Irish Bodhran Beater Tipper Stick, made from Glens of Antrim Irish Blackthorn by an Irish craftsman.

Finished with Danish Oil for a warm feel and subtle sheen.

This is a unique tipper with various naturally occurring dark dots in the wood and also a line of purple which is also a natural feature

Length 9.3/4" (inches)

Each Tipper is individually made and bears the rugged texture and markings of the Blackthorn (safe and smooth for your Bodhran)

The Tipper is also known as a cipin in irish.

Just wanted to say this tipper has exceeded my expectations. It arrived this morning and to see each dowel shaped to fit perfectly together was a fantastic surprise. I had purchased something similar for much less and have been very disappointed. Oh it plays amazing too. Thank you. Clive

I'm a beginning bodhran player teaching myself via YouTube and have little knowledge of what a tipper is "supposed" to be. I do know that I prefer this one to the traditional style one (solid with bulbous ends) that came with my bodhran. This tipper seems to give me more control. I can play faster, more dynamically, and more quietly. It is built solidly. After a couple of weeks of playing with it most days nothing has broken off or come loose. This tipper is definitely a quality product.
